Chap Construction has been serving Ocean County since 1972 and is headed by Randall C. Laing, Sr. Chap was started in June of 1972 by Harold T. Laing, a licensed master plumber, and Charles W. Laing, a licensed electrician. They spent years providing services to Ocean County residents that range from small repairs to new home construction to commercial renovations. Over the years they have amassed a loyal client base. In 1989, at the age of 15, Randy started working part time for the company. He became full time in 1993. While going to school to obtain his master plumber’s license and master HVAC license, he learned every aspect of the business and ultimately in 2007 Randy took over managing the day to day operations. Randy is currently the President of the company and has grown it to the extraordinarily successful, sought after entity it is today.

We have a team of highly skilled craftsman and hold licenses in Electric, Plumbing, HVAC and Home Improvement.  Our team is made up seasoned professionals that have clocked a collective 100 years of service with our company. We also mentor young tradesmen working towards licensing and currently have students in plumbing, HVAC and electrical classes.  Having been with our company for 3 to 5 years, we are looking forward to seeing these young people excel within Chap Construction. Our in-house estimator, permits specialist, and customer service team headed by Barbara A. Farley round out our company and enable us to provide our clients with unmatched turnkey service.
