What Is the Welcome World Rewards Program?
This program connects fans and visitors with participating small businesses through a user-friendly digital experience. Businesses that enroll can be featured as endorsed destinations and promote exclusive offers—such as discounts, specials, or unique in-store experiences—to drive traffic during one of the busiest tourism periods our region has ever seen.
Participants in the program will be incentivized to visit multiple locations, check in, and engage with local businesses. As engagement increases, fans can unlock rewards provided by the Host Committee—including the possibility of attending the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Final.

How the Program Works
Businesses that join will create a special offer—such as a promotion, discount, or themed experience—which will be featured on the program’s digital platform. Fans browsing the platform can discover your business, visit your location, and participate in the rewards system.
The program will run from just before the tournament begins through its conclusion, maximizing exposure throughout the entire event window.
Who Is Eligible?
To participate, businesses must:
- Be independently owned and operated
- Be located in New Jersey or New York (or have a principal place of business there)
- Maintain an active certificate of good standing
- Not be a national chain, franchise, or large regional brand
The program is designed to highlight true local businesses—the backbone of our communities.
Important Notes
Participation is completely free, and enrollment is open on a rolling basis from April 1 through May 15, 2026. Space and placement may be limited, so early sign-up is encouraged.
Some business categories are restricted, including those related to tobacco, cannabis, weapons, gambling, and adult content, as well as businesses that do not directly serve the public.
